STEP ONE: SPACE PLANNING

The need to have an open space where friends and family could spread out throughout the main floor and still be included was very evident. We accomplished this by taking out a wall to open the living room and kitchen into one large space. This created plenty of opportunities to develop the kitchen of their dreams along with a cozy and welcoming seating area. This included double islands, a separate prep sink, 48” gas range, wood beams with accent lighting and a triple sided glass fireplace.

STEP TWO: Add unique features

This antique butcher block we incorporated into the island was particularly special to these clients as it was from their family farm and encouraged plenty of reminiscing and warm memories. This family is also fantastic mixologists so having a bar area that highlights various spirits and wines was a functional game changer as well as a stunning focal feature.

The final result: an entertainers Dream

The completion of this project resulted in a open and welcoming space with plenty of natural finishes including warm woods, crisp metals, natural stone, and great accent lighting. It was meticulously sculpted to these clients lifestyle and they will enjoy it for years to come with many friends and family.
